This project culminated in a collection of over 100 collages made on A4 paper during the 2020 COVID-19 global pandemic. A4 is the standard paper size in the UK. You might not think that the scale of the most common home printer paper would be so different in two counties…but they are…and its a funny measure to adapt to. While the world was staying in and close to home I was still a fairly new migrant to the United Kingdom seeking a way of working that was both materially accessible while opening up a space to explore the immensity of what was happening in the world including the sense of displacement that so many of us experienced in unique ways. The collection was pulbished in a unique artist’s book.
